- Meet Leigh Alexander, the bullying guru of the anti-gamer gaming hacks. A snip that we didn't read on the show, but read the whole article:
But as bad as the ethical failings of many games journalists have been, they were largely acts of stupidity and greed. Leigh Alexander’s agenda however, is rooted in something far uglier: she actually hates gamers, despite being a journalist principally concerned with video games.
In other words, she hates her own audience.
Take a look at that "Gamers are over" article: "Games culture is a petri dish of people who know so little about how human social interaction and professional life works that they can concoct online 'wars' about social justice or 'game journalism ethics,' straight-faced.."
She laughs about the stereotype of shy and reserved gamers, but how funny is it to mock people who play games by calling them names? Sure, some gamers enjoy gaming because because it provides a space where refined social skills aren’t necessary, but that doesn’t make their complaints about crusading journalists any less valid. In her world, the reticence of gamers to swallow her Weltanschauung can only be caused by a neural development disorder.
Alexander also thinks that the current target audience for games developers needs to change. She asserts that this presumed group of disabled cavemen have been pandered to for too long and they need to have their toys taken away: "This is hard for people who’ve drank the kool aid about how their identity depends on the ageing cultural signposts of a rapidly-evolving, increasingly broad and complex medium. It's hard for them to hear they don't own anything, anymore, that they aren’t the world’s most special-est consumer demographic, that they have to share."

- The newest supposed victim - Brianna Wu - takes the field; gets rage-filled posts of support from sci-fi author John Scalzi; gets totally uncritical praise from The Mary Sue for her TV appearances which Sargon aptly shreds into confetti:
Then she gets savagely beaten by a guy in a wheelchair:
The despicably uses the murder of a mother of four young children to claim more faux victimhood: Which made MundaneMatt's support of her reward seem regrettable.
- The SNL "Sexual Harassment and You" sketch with Tom Brady.
- The best source of news for advanced Android users: Android Police.
- Otto's wife the Commie.
- Taylor Swift's 1989 sells 1.287M records and pulls her back catalog off Spotify (because money) which prompts this twit to attack Spotify for wanting to better serve their customers. (Snob.) This guy got a better deal for buying the CD from Amazon and, despite the title, this guy admits vinyl is inferior. Fortunately there's help for this:
- Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is canceled. Try and be strong, America.
- Some people finally noticed that Lena Dunham wrote about her sexually molesting her sister in her autobiography, Weighing My Privilege. (Actual title probably different.) She threatens to sue sites for quoting WHAT SHE WROTE; "apologized" and got the support of the victim whom she'd dressed up as a "Hell's Angel sex property" when she was 5-years-old (the sister, not Lena); was criticized by both conservative-leaning sites and rabid man-hating radical feminist Samantha Allen (yes, the misandrist from earlier in the show); canceled book tour dates and was reminded that suing won't get her off the hook.
- AC/DC's drummer charged with procuring murder, but shortly after the show taping, the charges were dropped.
- Amazon Prime unlimited photo storage in cloud, is sitting on $83M of Fire phones (but still developing 2nd gen), and introduced the Fire TV Stick, a competitor to Chromecast and Roku Stick.
- Android Lollipop pushed to AOSP, but updates for older Nexuses delayed until 11/12. A good overview Lollipop review at Engadget.
